My name is Emma Cude, and I am the face of Dry Valley Leather Company.

I started this company in November of 2020. It was originally called Cude Custom Leatherwork, and I made the name change in 2022. Throughout my grade school years, nobody could pronounce my last name correctly. I thought, "I want my business name to be easily remembered, easily pronounced, and satisfying to say". After going through a list of about 20 different names, I landed on Dry Valley, named after the beautiful Dry Valley in Nutrioso, AZ, where my family spends most of their time during the summers.

I originally worked on my business part-time, and after three years I finally decided that this is what I want to spend every day doing. I now work as much as I possibly can on my orders, because it's what I love doing most.

Over the years, I've developed some incredible friendships with customers, other leatherworkers, and collaborators.
